Ember and Elsie were thoroughly health tested, and come from AKC registered and health tested dams and sires.

We follow Puppy Culture and will provide Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to ensure we're doing everything we can to provide families with happy, healthy, socialized puppies.

EMBER'S 1ST LITTER:
AKC Bernese Mountain Dog Puppies

We hope to breed Ember soon for an early Spring 2024 litter. She'll be bred to Murphy, an AKC Bernese Mountain Dog weighing 70 pounds. Ember weighs 64 pounds, so we are excited for the smaller size puppies they should produce. We expect them to mature under 80 pounds, which we hope will help increase their longevity.

ELSIE'S 1ST LITTER:
F1b Bernedoodles

Elsie will be bred for F1b bernedoodle puppies (75% poodle, 25% bernedoodle) in Spring 2024. We plan to breed for tricolor and merle puppies that are low to no shedding.

WHY BREED INSTEAD OF RESCUE?

Marley was the first dog that we owned together. She was a rescue dog we adopted at 12 weeks of age, and she was our first baby. Years later, when we became licensed Foster Parents, it became obvious that Marley was incredibly uncomfortable around children. She had always been a nervous dog, but her fear started manifesting itself as aggression. We could no longer trust her around children or our other pets, so she was rehomed with a family member. After that experience, we learned the importance of early socialization and the benefits of buying puppies raised in healthy home settings with educated breeders.

We fully support and encourage people to adopt animals from rescue organizations. We also acknowledge, through our personal experience, that rescue animals aren't the best fit for every family or situation, and we can bridge that gap by providing loving, socialized, healthy puppies in a responsible way.

WHY BERNEDOODLES?

Out of all the breeds in all the world, we believe combining the Bernese Mountain Dog with the Poodle creates incredible family dogs. The calm, easy going, loving nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog, paired with the intelligent, active, loyal, and trainable poodle personality,creates very smart puppies that aren't overly hyper. Furthermore, mixing the breeds leads to hybrid vigor, resulting in healthier puppies because the genes of the parents don't overlap. We want our puppies to live long, healthy lives.
